The Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) is a federal program that provides financial compensation and medical benefits to current or former Department of Energy (DOE) workers—or their survivors—who became ill as a result of exposure to radiation or toxic substances while on the job.
